Magnolia Beach is a friendly, small coastal town with great beaches where you can wade right out into Lavaca Bay; perfect for swimming, beach combing, fishing and crabbing.
The weather is hot in summer, cool in winter, and just right most of the year! Powderhorn Lake connects with the bay at the Indianola Fishing Pier, where you can pay to fish, or just relax, take in the sights, and eat from their short order menu.
The area is also known for its great birding in all seasons. Most species are here year round, while others are migratory, showing up in the spring and fall. Duck hunting is popular in the winter months.
This is a tight knit community where the locals are very friendly and laid back.
